Apart from the documents required to submit as ruled on page 2 to 4 in the Admission Instructions for International Students of National Tsing Hua University, students still need to submit the following documents online for applying the program.

About our program:
Our Master’s Program of Teaching Chinese as second/foreign language integrated faculty resources from various schools/colleges and disciplinary of National Tsing Hua University, aiming for global touch and talents fostering both interdisciplinary and cross fields.
The program intends to recruit both domestic and international MA students, as well as overseas Chinese students. We welcome any applications from those who are interested in teaching Chinese as a second/foreign language.
Features:
l Tailor-made and flexible study: In addition to some required courses, professors/advisors will evaluate the background and interest of the students and guide students to take courses with the related institutes in NTHU and external courses in collaborated universities.
l Intercollegiate and Interdisciplinary courses: There are dozens of related courses for students to choose from, for example College of Humanities and Social Sciences (Chinese ontology), College of Education (Language Teaching), College of Science and Technology Management (Professional Chinese), and Chinese Language Center (teaching practicum).
l To develop teaching Chinese for specific purposes: To enhance the competitiveness of students’ pursuit of careers after graduation, the courses will be designed to combine with the work fields, such as business Chinese teaching, Tour guide Chinese, and Chinese teaching for science and technology.
l International Connection: During the study period, we will provide students with various opportunities of International exchange and overseas internship.
Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees
Tuition and miscellaneous fees (per semester), credit fees and housing expenses may be adjusted every year. Information below is for your reference only.

Notes |
l Pay international student tuition rate after entering NTHU. l The student is responsible for payment of the remaining fees not covered by the waiver. (Such as student insurance, health insurance, housing, housing deposit, internet user fee, etc.) l Scholarship recipients are required to complete 4 credits of Chinese language courses during award period or provide equivalent certificate (72 hours). l If scholarship type A recipient fails to achieve minimum academic average for one semester, the stipend will be suspended for a month. (Graduate: GPA 3.4, Undergraduate: GPA 2.44) |
